Companion Map Markers

Sent-home or dismissed companions now remain marked on the map and compass, making their last assigned location easier to recover.

How to use the marker

Open the map before searching the companion's previous home.
Check the compass while approaching the marked area.
If the marker and companion disagree, record the save state and assignment that produced it.

A marker is a navigation aid. It does not prove a companion teleported correctly, survived permadeath, or can be recruited from every quest state.

Exact values, requirements and edge cases stay marked as unverified until they can be checked in the current build.
