Start with the clue in your journal
The verified Steam discussion uses the spelling Remba and quotes the clue as forests north of town. Check the spelling and wording in your own current objective before applying the report to Right Where I Found It.
Update 7 improved many quest directions and added broad map areas, so current text can differ from a launch-day report. The live journal remains the first reference for your save.

Ramba: Compare the Journal With One Player Report
- Live journalBegin with the current north-of-town wording.
- Reported leadOne player described a forest edge southeast of a ruin.
- Current areaUse the report only when it agrees with the live state.
- BoundaryNo fixed spawn, named ruin or schedule is verified.
Use the ruin observation as one search lead
The reporting player said the cat was barely touching a forest southeast of a ruin, despite the broader north-of-town wording. If your journal shows the same clue, that reported forest edge is a more specific place to inspect than sweeping every northern tree line.
This is not an official coordinate or guaranteed route. The post does not name the ruin, provide a map pin or establish that Ramba remains there across times, saves or later builds.
Compare the lead with the current build
- Confirm the game is on Update 8 plus Hotfix 10.
- Quote the current objective before searching.
- Check whether Update 7 supplies a quest area for the active state.
- Inspect the forest boundary around visible ruins only if it agrees with the current clue.
- Record a different landmark if the current build places the objective elsewhere.
Do not turn one sighting into a schedule
Not finding Ramba at the reported forest edge does not prove the NPC is missing. The direct post documents one player's location mismatch, not a respawn system, daily schedule or fixed placement rule.
If the objective remains active after checking the current clue and map area, report the wording, nearby landmark, build and save age. Keep later handoffs and outcomes out of the report unless they are visible in that save.
